Brad Smith is a Certified Public Accountant in Indianapolis, Indiana where he built his career after moving here in 1983. He graduated in 1982 from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting with High Distinction. Brad started his career with Geo. S. Olive and Company, a regional CPA firm headquartered in Indianapolis (now BKD, LLP) where he worked in the financial services industry division. After three years in public accounting he worked in various accounting management positions in the private industries. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Finance Center Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis where he worked for ten years. His next employer was Ameriana Bancorp, the parent company of Ameriana Bank and Trust in New Castle, Indiana, where he served as Senior Vice President--Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for both the Bancorp and the Bank. Ameriana is a publicly traded company listed on NASDAQ as ASBI. In 2007 Brad established his firm, Brad Smith, CPA, LLC.
