Digital Interface Systems, Inc. (DIS), located in Cleveland, Ohio, was established in 1987 to address the needs of industry automation by developing a test and measurement device: the digital interface system, to improve data acquisition and measurement. DIS has since, expanded its range of services and products in response to the demands for advanced hardware and software solutions. Today, DIS specializes in the design, development and marketing of (1) turnkey computer network integration systems and (2) digital data acquistion, control systems and products.
NASA has honored DIS with its prestigious NASA Glenn Garrett Morgan Commercialization Initiative Assistance Awards, 3 out of 4 years. The most recent by the 2002 award for the laboratory development and commercialization of STEREO IMAGING VELOCIMETRY, a NASA invented and patented technology, exclusively licensed from NASA.
